This world was changed on Jun 28th, my amazing Dad entered heaven. He would have been 68 the following morning. So hard to imagine life without him reminding me “not to underestimate my old man” that being said he proved once again don’t underestimate him, by running through the pearly gates. My heart hurts for my loss but is filled with joy for his gain. He’s My Hero, My Daddy, Papa, Brother, Son, Uncle and friend loved by many! Rest Peacefully Daddy!!!

It is with such a heavy heart I had to say goodbye to this man.
We spent so much time together over the years
He was more to me than a father in law or friend, he was my Dad.
Taught me so many things, we were alot alike in alot of ways, I will always remember hunting, target shooting, the talks, it's going to be very difficult to not look for you during family functions, or call you to see how you are.
Till we meet again, I Love You Dad

I remember going fishing with Uncle Jim on a private lake in Gobles that I had somehow managed to get permission to fish with him. We headed out on the lake even though there was a thunder storm approaching. The fish were jumping around and biting like CRAZY. I caught my biggest largemouth bass that day before lightning caused uncle Jim to say it was past time to go. He was deathly afraid of lightning I remember. When we got off the lake, we thought we could hear someone calling for help. We walked around in a pouring rain looking for the person we were sure was crying for help. Finally we found the source of the call...a GOAT! I will never forget that day, or the times he took me squirrel hunting or to the annual turkey shoot. I will truly miss my Uncle Jim.

One of the things I’m most proud of is something my mother tells me occasionally and I quote “ you remind me so much of your uncle Jim, you act just like him”. I was never sure in what ways, but being always quick to laugh with that cheesy grin, a mans man, and a bit of a smart ass, is what always stuck with me. I try to live up to that every day.
