Ms. Carrie, I'll never forget working with you at Kellogg's. Seeing you every day gave me strength to get through the difficult time I was having in my life. You prayed with and for me. Talked me through the struggle and helped me when I had no one else to turn to. I'll never forget how sweet, kind, and loving you were to me every day!!
Rest in peace...until we meet again...
My prayers and condolences to my best friend Paula and her siblings, as well as her grandchildren, and all the other host of relatives and loved ones whose life she touched. May the peace of God be with you as you continue life's journey without Ms. Carrie. It will be difficult but know that God is with you and that He will see you through.
With Love,
Denise

Dennis and I were very sad to hear of Carrie Nell’s passing. I, Gladys Evans Reid have known Carrie Nell since the early 60’s. She became my sister-in-law in 1964 and has been a blessing to know.
Carrie Nell was there for me when our mother and two sisters passed away. Carrie Nell loved our mother and she will be laid to rest on her birthday. Carrie Nell loved to talk and we would talk for hours after playing phone tag to reach each other. She loved her family very much and did not like confusion, nor being in the mist of any. She never spoke bad about anyone, she was just a sweet and pleasant lady. When she was able to get around, she would go to work, store and church. She loved her church family also.
There are so many memories I could share about Carrie Nell but this one we talked about often. In 2009, I contacted Carrie Nell for some old 45 records and albums. She said Gladys I was tired of all the junk in the house and I put all of them on the curb. I was in shock, and asked why did you do that? She answered I don’t know but by the time I thought of it and went back to bring the records in, they were gone. She was sick and I was also as she had every record from the 60’s. After we got over the shock, we laughed whenever the conversation came up. I love her like a sister and will truly miss our talks and her laughter.
My sincere sympathy and prayers of comfort to Paula, Michael, Chris, Janet, the grandchildren and other family members. Although Carrie Nell is no longer with us, her memory we will treasure in our hearts forever. Rest in Heaven, my dear sister-in-law.
Much Love, Dennis & Gladys and family

Carrie was a beautiful woman, inside and out. She was a very close friend to my Mom Bev, and I know they are enjoying their reunion in heaven. Carrie stopped by to see my husband and me a while back and I am so thankful for her kindness and her steadfast confidence in the Lord. I know she is hearing “Well done” Praying for those who will miss her always. Kari Castleberry

Sending condolences and love to the family of Carrie Nell. She was such a beautiful person in heart and spirit to me, always greeting with a grand smile. I know you will miss her but always remember absent from the body, present with the Lord; plan to join her in glory is the best reward. I believe her greatest joy was her family and it is up to you to continue her legacy, blessings to each of you is myprayer in Jesus’ name.
