I met Mrs. Baptiste at the beauty shop some 21 years ago on a Saturday morning with two other ladies. There was Ms. J, Ms. Y, myself Ms. Lee and Ms. Sandy. We lovingly called ourselves the “Salon Sisters.” Over the years, we shared life stories together, enjoyed special snacks together, prayed together, laughed together, and cried together. Ms. Sandy always dressed so elegantly, she looked like a model from head to toe. But more importantly Ms. Sandy modeled grace, kindness and a genuine love for people in a manner we all should. Our prayers go out to her family, our condolences are heartfelt and sincere. Saturday mornings at the shop will never be the same. Ms. Sandy will forever be in our hearts and our Salon Sister!

I remember when she and Amie owned the bar in Plainwell. Das and I went there to surprise her. When she seen Dad (Ralph Boyer) there she had tears in her eyes. She was so happy to see him there. She even got him out on the dance floor to dance with her. He loved each and every one of his Neices just as he did the Nephews. RIP Sandy you will be missed by so many. Prayers for the family. Hugs and much love to you all.

I’m so glad I got see you Aunt Sandy before your journey home! Thank you for always being there for me and my family! I will cherish the memories of growing up around you! Even in my older years coming to my house when Rick was so sick you raised our spirits on those nights you visited! And even more recently helping through a rough time just a couple years ago! I will miss you! I’ll always carry you with me! You were a beautiful soul inside and out! I know the almighty had your wings especially designed to fit your beauty! Thoughts out to your kids and grandkids! Love you all!
