Obituary of Samuel Gaddy, Sr.

Samuel Gaddy Sr. (Big Daddy Gaddy) born May 4, 1944 in Mileston, MS to the late Anderson ( Sr.) and Martha Gaddy, fell asleep in death on Friday August 9,  2019.  Beloved husband, father, "Big Papa," brother, uncle & friend, he is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Velma Gaddy, and 10 children: Margo (Robert) Steward, Rochelle (Howard) Cobb, Mary Moore (James Chambers), Samuel Gaddy Jr. (Condie), Cary Moore, Belinda (Samuel) Steel, Sheila (Leonardo) Smith, Chester  Moore (Stacy), Tammye Gaddy, and Danielle (Dujuan) Robinson. His brothers Nathaniel (Marlisa) Gaddy & Leon (Margaret) Gaddy. A host of nieces, nephews, grand children, great grand children and a very special friend, Andy Cavanaugh.

Preceded in death by his youngest son Fernando Gaddy Sr., and 8 siblings: Elma Cobb, Bernice George, Eddie Gaddy, Percy Gaddy, William Gaddy, Robert Gaddy, Anderson Gaddy Jr., and Baby Gaddy.
