My thoughts and prayers are with our family at this time. We have lost a strong warrior. Uncle Sam as I called him, was a happy soul. I cannot not remember a time when I saw him and he was not bubbling over with joy. I've been reflecting back in my youth, when he was always around. He had an smooth voice, and thought he "could sing" . He always told me, I was his favorite niece, and knew I loved him. But, he would say :I'm not your favorite Uncle. Uncle Sam. take your rest. You fought a good battle! You will never be forgotten. Your favorite niece Valerie Cobb Cannon
