Letter of Condolence
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:1-2).
To the family of Bro. Rodell Oliver and with special honor to our church family Dec. and Sis. Wendell and Hattie Oliver, First Evangelistic Church of God in Christ submits this condolence acknowledging the will of God to take Bro. Oliver home to his reward. We are confident that God is your refuge and strength and a very present help during this time of your loss.
It has often been said that strong families produce strong churches. The First Church family has witnessed the love of your family first hand. We have been blessed by the efforts of many who perform acts of kindness to our ministry when few are watching. For the bible declares that God is not unrighteous forget your labor of love. Although words may seem inadequate to express the sorrow of your loss, we pray that memories of the past will in due time bring you a smile and place peace in your heart.
Please know that that we will lift you up in prayer during this hour and can testify that weeping may endure for a night, but joy will come in the morning.
Humbly submitted,
Pastor James T. Cooper and
First Evangelistic Church of God in Christ

I would like to express my deepest condolences to my sister, all his kids and the family of Rodell.
Never knew him personally but the way he loved my sister and her kids was exemplary in my eyes.
He showed what a real man is per my father.
We all love and miss you.
God Bless and cover this family.
Amen.
