Best MOM ever ... already a mother of 6; taking on another should have seem like a burden. Kay loved me and treated me as one of her own. Always a hug when needed, scolding often and chocolate tote on special occasions. Some of my best childhood memories are with my second mom/family .... thank you "Holmes"

Kay and I became good friends, in fact, I introduced Kay to Bill Holmes, (my mom's youngest brother) and they eventually married and had 6 wonderful children. I regret not trying to see her more since school, rest in peace Kay, love you!!

I will always remember her for how she protected us children on the playground at school and in the lunch rooms. She was always a sweethearted kind person, I gave many good memories running towards her for security on the playground. Prayers to your family, and may she RIP. I will always remember her with a smile..

So many memories in my heart. I remember those times on East Main St Aunt Kay would watch 5 of our nine siblngs along with her own. Uncle Bill out in their driveway working on cars. Aunt Kay putting together for all of to eat. She loved giving us macaroni & cheese she would laugh and put one pk of cheese for two boxes of macaroni and say too us that way she had enough for next time. Crazy fun times but that one stuck to me. She was always loving , always laughing. She will be missed but always be in our hearts.
