Obituary of Tre'Ana Lachelle Tanae' Tarver

Tre’Ana Lachelle Tanae’ Tarver, 19, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 3, 2018. She was born March 27, 1999 in Xenia, OH to Darnell Tarver and Takeeshia Glass. Tre’Ana confessed Christ and was baptized at Bethel Temple at the age of 5. She was a current member of Greater Grace Temple in Springfield, OH.

Tre’Ana was a charismatic, energetic, and an intelligent young lady who many saw as a high achiever and fast learner. She enjoyed collecting books and videos like her mother. Tre’Ana attended Parker Elementary and Kenwood Academy in Chicago, IL where she became the Salutatorian of her 8^thGrade Class. After Middle School she returned to Xenia, OH and graduated from Xenia High School. She began her college education at Central State University which was the same University her PaPal, Charles Tarver attended and received his Undergraduate Degree from. Tre’Ana was pursuing a Chemistry Degree and express a strong desire to create her own haircare line for natural hair. 

Following in the footsteps of her very gifted and musically inclined family, Tre’Ana developed a love for reading and playing music at a very early age. She played several instruments and mastered them all, but her most precious and prized possession was the Cello she received from her PaPal.

Not only did she love to play music, but equally as important was her natural ability to dance. Tre’Ana was a youth praise dancer who arranged and choreographed many praise dances and truly enjoyed teaching the youth how to “Get Their Praise On” through dance. 

Tre’Ana is preceded in death by her great aunt, Erica Foster and her great grandfather, James “Gramps” Tarver.

She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Darnell Tarver(Alicia Johnson) and Takeeshia Glass (Saani Tucker); her siblings, Janell Tarver, Elijah Tarver, Mikuela  Battle, Runako Tucker, Hashim Tucker  Xenia, OH; her maternal grandparents, Carmella “Nan” Glass, Xenia, OH, Charles “Papal” & JoAnn “Grandma” Tarver, Xenia, OH, special grandparents, Dane and Barbara Tucker, Chicago, IL;  great grandparents, Rita McClure, Xenia, OH,  Vivian Tarver, Xenia, OH; uncles Jerome Glass III (Nikki), Jerone’ Glass (Kiki), Quincey Tarver; aunts, Alesia Glass, Shemeka Reynolds (Justin), Rashida Tucker, Latanya Tucker; special uncle, Jelani Tucker, Sr.; special cousins,  Nyla Wells, Jelani Tucker, Jr., Monique Foster, RuQaiya’h Grimes, The Tarver Crew;  special lifelong friend, Tamrin Withers, and a host of other family members and friends who will forever cherish her wonderful memory.
