Obituary of Marilyn Pierre

 Marilyn Pierre (born Williams) was born in the city of San Fernando in Trinidad and Tobago on October 27, 1947, to parents Charles McIntosh and Mable Williams and entered into eternity with her Lord Jesus Christ on September 25th, 2018.  Marilyn was raised in Trinidad and migrated to Brooklyn, NY where she spent her formative years.  More recently she resided with her son Lumumba, daughter-in-law Rhea and grand-daughter Sanaa in Kalamazoo, MI.  Marilyn completed her high school education and worked for many years in the home healthcare field.  During her spare time, she greatly enjoyed the fellowship of St John Spiritual Baptist Church in Brooklyn, NY and assisted in many projects that fed the homeless and provided educational supplies and resources to disadvantaged children.  Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, and survived by her husband Fitzroy Pierre, her four children, Lumumba, Shaka, Quincy and Keasha, and her three daughters-in-law, Dawn, Latoya, and Rhea. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, Denise, Daishon, Dominique, Destyni, Qyrah, Jahree, Madison, Brandon, Aidan, and Sanaa.  She is also survived by her siblings Pamela, Keith, Trevor, Errol, Kenny, Ronald, June, Arlene, and Michelle.
