Obituary of Dean Leroy Dentler

Passed away unexpectedly Wednesday evening, August 22nd, 2018 at Borgess Medical Center. Dean was born in Kalamazoo, MI, December 23rd, 1953. The son of William J and Mildred O (Hubbard) Dentler. Dean was employed most of his life in Paper Mills in the area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, & spending time with his dog Sassy. On April 21st 1973, he married Karen Bagley. They divorced years later. Surviving surviving are his mother Mildred (Hubbard) Dentler; 3 children, Nicole (Mary) Hall of Plainwell, Kendra (Les) Bavin of Comstock, Tamara (Dave) Hunter of Kalamazoo; many grandchildren; many great- grandchildren; three brothers, Doug (Eleanor) Dentler of Paw Paw, Greg (Cindy) Dentler of Kalamazoo, Bill (Debbie) Dentler of Portage. One sister Julie (Todd) Sewell of Delton; many nieces and nephews; and long time girlfriend Diane Bourdo of Delton. He was preceded in death by his father William (Bill) Dentler. Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service at the funeral home. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
