Obituary of Mary Joyce Troxler

Mary Joyce Troxler transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, August 19, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on Tuesday, May 28, 1940 in Lexington, Kentucky to the proud parents of Elmer Bates, Sr. and Jennie Mae Bates. Mary confessed Christ at early age, and she stood strong never letting go of her Lord and Survivor. She met the love of her life, Eugene Troxler and they were united in marriage on Monday, June 20, 1955.  And to this union seven children were born, Valerie, Kimberly, Anita, Regina, Eugene, Timothy, Marikka. Mary was a very loving and caring person and she will be truly missed.  She leaves to forever cherish her memory, her children: Valerie Sanchez, Kimberly Troxler, Marikka Troxler, Timothy (Nicole) Troxler, and Eugene (Nahid) Troxler; two very special adopted daughters, Beverly and Bobby Edwards; one adopted son Robert McKinley; one brother Ollie (Phyllis) Bates of Lexington, KY.; her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and special friends and her Macedonia Church Family, whom she greatly loved. She is preceded in death by her parents Elmer and Jennie Mae Bates, Sr.; her siblings: Elmer Bates, Jr., Ronald Lee Bates, and Louise Douglas. Although Mary has departed from this life, she will live on in the hearts of those who love her.
