Obituary of Cathy Ann Hill

Cathy Ann Hill (Roe) passed away Thursday, April 12th , 2018 surrounded by family in her home after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Brown and her father Robert Brown. She is survived by her three children Chad Roe, Jason Roe and daughter Erika Roe. Her grandchildren Jayremiah Smith and Alayiah Lazarra were especially close to her.  She is also survived by a sister Robin Brown, three nieces Alicia Kamen (Byars), Lindsey Kamen, and Amber Byars and grandchildren Marcia, Kylie, Andrea, Chad, Nevaeh, and Jason, as well as five great grandchildren and extended family Larry Gordon and daughter Kayleisha, Maria Spinelli and daughter Leah, along with Opal, Corey, Beth and Dominique McClurg. She will also be missed by a large network of friends.

Cathy was born on February 7, 1960 and raised in Kalamazoo, Mi. She attended Kalamazoo Public Schools and acquired her G.E.D from P.C.E.C.

Cathy was a very loving and giving person. She loved her family and spending time outdoors. She enjoyed many days spent having cookouts and tanning at the lake, or a pool, with friends and family. She was a skilled cook and loved cooking for her loved ones. She would do anything she could for anyone at anytime. Cathy will be missed very much. Everyone who loved her will cherish their memories and keep her alive in all of our hearts. We love you Cathy!
