Walkie Talkie was one of my favorite people st the Kalamazoo GM plant. He was always happy, sincere and had an uplifting word every time we spoke. I know he must be deeply missed and I'm honored to have known him.

To the family of Richard "Walkie Talkie" Parrott, you have my heartfelt sympathy. I met Walkie in 1975 at the General Motors Plant in Kalamazoo. In 1999 we transferred to Toledo Powertrain in Toledo, Oh. We kept in touch even after he moved back to Kalamazoo. He will truly be missed. May God rest his soul.
