Obituary of Terrance Jaleel Swinney
Terrance Jaleel Swinney Sr. (Nook) was born September 5, 1991 and passed away April 7, 2018. Raised mostly in Kalamazoo Michigan, Terrance knew at a young age that he wanted to be an entrepreneur working various jobs to help him obtain his goal of financial freedom. With a growing family he expanded his entrepreneurship into the art of Mixed Martial Arts Fighting maintaining the title of undefeated 5-0 while training for his next big win.
Terrance was a goal oriented family man who is survived by his parents: Jackie Swinney-Duncan & Terry Swinney. Grandparents: Jerry Spearman & Lucy Swinney-Bowen. Siblings: Jabari, Jakwasi, Rodriquez, & Charles Curtis Sanders, Emmanuel Swinney, Temeka Pamplin, & Terry Brown.
Aunts: Deedee Brown, Debby Swinney-West, & Fannie Ann Stevenson, Uncles: Fred Hussine-Sanders & Courtney Hooper. Children: Terrance Jr., Timotheus, T’Vajhiele (Zion), & Tobias Swinney whom he shared with D’Marea Smith & his daughter Aniyah Ampudiaz from a previous relationship. Special Cousin: Sonja Johnson, & A host of beloved Nieces, Nephews & best friends: Jo Jo & Pat Pat.
Terrance was loved by his family, friends & community. Always telling jokes and showcasing his dance moves, he aimed to put a smile on your face with pure comedy he was truly the life of the party. Terrance was brave, protective & giving. A good father, son, brother, & friend. He will be missed but never forgotten. We love you Terrance Jaleel Swinney, Our dear Nook may you rest in peace.
