To: My grandfather
We barely got the time to get acquainted or truly got to know one another. For reason that were at times both out of our control; however you were always pleasant and kind whenever I did get a chance to be in your presence. I can honestly say that I look forward to the time when death, pain, sorrow, addiction and strife will be no more. This is brought out in Revelation 21:4. It reads, And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” I also look forward to the future resurrection of all our dear loved ones. This is another bible promise at John 5:28, 29, Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.
I hold the future paradise and resurrection very close to my heart for many reasons, but most importantly, to live peacefully among loved ones with no evil in sight. Then when we can truly get to know one another and come to know the true God, Jehovah.
To The Smith Family, my sincerest and deepest apologies on your loss. While we did not know each other either, pain is universal and losing someone in death is felt by all at some point. Look to God's word the bible in 2 Corinthians 3,4, it talks about our God and his tender mercies. Whenever the pang of death and sorrow comes about, remember God is always close to the broken hearted and his ear is listening to those honest at heart
Love, Nikiya
