Obituary of David Scott Grinage
David Scott Grinage passed away April 4, 2018 after a brief illness with esophageal cancer. Born to Cyrus and Jeanne (Irwin) Grinage on September 14, 1942 in Watson Township. Scott graduated from Martin High School, eventually entering the Detroit Barber School and making a career of being a Barber. He was known for his love of cooking and gardening. Scott is survived by his son Christopher Grinage of Mendon, daughter Danielle (Mike) Leo of Mendon, grandson Alex Leo also of Mendon. He is also survived by brothers Les of Atlanta, Ga and Cleon (Leann) of Plainwell, a sister Nancy VanderPloeg of Plainwell, and Sister-in-law Catherine of Denver, CO as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Larry and William (Bill) and an infant brother. According to his wishes, he has been cremated. A celebration of life will be May 19, 2018 at 1pm at Miner Cemetery, Watson Township. A special thank you to Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan and CentraCare.
