Christine I am so saddened by your passing. I know God has you by his side. I knew you to be the most caring, giving person I have ever known! You gave when you did not have it to give, because you said someone needed more than you. I feel blessed to have been the last person you might have spoke to on February 22, 2018. Even thro our conversation was not a long one I so enjoyed our chat. You will be in my heart for ever as one of my downtown Family. You were Family to all of us down there, that cared about you and you will always will be. I am so glad I decided to know you 5 yr ago when I started working for the City of Battle Creek. Christine you have enriched my heart and you actually taught me a lot. I will miss you so much and God loves you and I do too!!! R.I.P.

I am very sad to hear so late that u went to be with the lord... But i am furious at ur family for not doing what they should have by pretty much hiding ur death from the ones that loved u more than ur own.... I kno u didnt die january 25th as we spoke to u febuary 22nd they have the times wrong.... Theres no reason why u couldnt have a proper obituary with ur beautiful picture in the paper and a proper funeral as u deserved im so saddened by all this if money was the issue i would have paid and so would a few others... But i kno that wasnt the issue because u got ur lump some of money from ssi and that could have been used but instead they chose to take it for them selfs instead of making ur funeral what it should have been.... We will miss u christine as i looked at u like family.... I love u and god does too ill never forget that saying
