Obituary of Denise Ann Kellam

Denise Kellam age 66 of Kalamazoo, passed away on Sunday, January 7th at Rose Arbor Hospice. Denise was born in Battle Creek on May 7, 1951 to Patsy and the late Gerald Heckber. Her heritage included German, Irish and Arikara American Indian. Denise graduated from high school and attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College. While attending college for a clinical assistant, Denise took a job with the United States Postal Service where she was a mail carrier for 26 years. Her hobbies included gardening, caring for others and fixing anything broken including people in her life.  She is survived by her mother, Patsy Kiel; son, Shawn Kellam; brother, Mike Lane; sister Connie Bray; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held for family and friends.
