Obituary of Jeanette Zuber

To be absent from the body to be present with the Lord.  Jeanette Zuber was born January 30, 1955, in Memphis, TN., to the late Joseph and Flonnie Mae Zuber. She departed this life to be with the Lord, on January 4, 2018, at Rose Arbor Kalamazoo, MI., following a brief illness.

Jeanette graduate of Memphis Technical High School in Memphis, TN.  After completing High School Jeanette enlisted United States Army, she was Station Fort Jackson, South Carolina. She received an Honorable Discharge.

Jeanette relocated to Kalamazoo, MI.  She was employed at Zayre for 8 years, later gained employment Alamo Skilled Nursing Facility and Kairos Dwelling Hospice Home.  She enjoyed volunteering and helping others,

Jeanette accepted Christ at an early age at Middle Baptist Church in Memphis TN. Later she united Bethany Reformed Church and Allen Chapel.  Jeanette loved sharing the word of God, attending Bible Study and participating in church activities.  Her favorite scripture Psalms 51:10 “Create in me a Clean Heart, O God: and renew the right spirit within me.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Flonnie Mae Zuber. She leaves to cherish her memories two daughters, Aretha Lark, and Tonya McClain both of Kalamazoo, MI.; two grandsons Jimmy Banks Jr. Memphis TN.; Nicholas Hill of Kalamazoo; three granddaughters Kanecia and Katoyna Ligon  Kalamazoo, MI. Chauntice McDonald of Boston, Massachusetts, and two great-grandchildren. One brother Leroy Zuber, of Memphis, TN.; along with a host of relatives and friends.
