Obituary of Joe Frank Greer

Joe Frank Greer was born on January 7, 1968 in Lewisburg, TN to James Wayne Thomison and the late Doris Ann Greer.  He graduated from Clay High School in South Bend, IN. 

He was united in marriage to Adaezia Brandon on January 22, 2016, and was excited about the future with his new bride.

He worked at Textile Systems Incorporated for several years.  He was a dedicated employee and had recently been promoted to Auxiliary Operator.  He enjoyed traveling, watching wrestling and spending time with his family.  He was a “foodie” and liked to try new restaurants.  He was a devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He loved life, had a great sense of humor and was notorious at playing “the dozens.”

Remaining to cherish his life and legacy: his loving wife Adaezia Brando-Greer; his children Thaddeus (Camille) Eggleston, Nicole Alfred, DeCarlos Roberts, Sajata Love, Tryvon “Boogie” Greer, LaShawnda Melton, Jazmyne Rodas, Antonio Rodas and Jaiden Brandon; siblings Lauretta Greer, Freda Greer, Angela Blackmon, Cheryl Blackmon, Gwendolyn Eggleston, Barbara Blackmon, Jerry (Tammy) Blackmon, Steve (Missy) Howard and Casey Blackmon, Sherri Williams; stepfather Charlie E. Blackmon; 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother Corey Greer.
