Obituary of Clifton Eric McCall
Herbert Daniel and Nellie Delois (Sadberry) McCall Sr. were married on July 10, 1947. They become proud parents on December 4, 1958 when Clifton Eric McCall was born. He was the 6th of 9 children born to this union at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Clifton Eric McCall passed away from a short illness.
Cliff accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age. He was a member of Galilee Baptist Church. Cliff loved the Word of God and he loved to sing. He sang with Eternal Life singing group and Unit One Music. He also enjoyed making music with family.
Cliff was employed and retired from River Run Press as a Delivery Driver. Cliff started working at a young age at Victory Press that was owned and run by his parents. Later to work at Brown Company then James Rivers.
Cliff is survived by his Beautiful wife Erma Jean Patterson McCall of 21 years; his children: Lynora Patterson, Kidada Patterson, JaMar (Latoyia) McCall, Clairise McCall, and Brandon Eric McCall, all of Kalamazoo, Michigan; his siblings: 3 Sisters: Helen (Robert) Pratt Jr of Kalamazoo, MI, Esther McCall of Grand Rapids, MI, and Janet (Jerry) Wilson of Battle Creek, MI; 5 Sisters in Love: Ann (Eugene) Morris, Edna Moss, Carrie Simpson (Monte Palm), Dorothy (Willie) Smith and Janet (Hal) Buchanan, all of Kalamazoo, Michigan; 5 Brothers: Herbert (Voncil) McCall Jr. of Kalamazoo, MI, Michael (Diane) McCall Sr. of Elgin, IL, Brian (Susan) McCall of Kalamazoo, MI, Phillip Scott (Lisa) McCall Sr. of Virginia Beach, VA and James (Monica) McCall of Las Vegas, NV.; 4 Brothers in Love: Little Golden Patterson, John (Vicki) Patterson, Elvis (Ethel) Patterson and Toney (Diane) Patterson, all of Kalamazoo, Michigan; his grandchildren: Tanara Patterson (aka Ta-Angel) of Lansing, MI, Jamar Lovell McCall, Brooklyyn Hurley, Kylazia Dye and Jamez Dye, Jeremiah McCall, and Jordan Jackson-McCall, all of Kalamazoo, Michigan; a Maternal Aunt Phyllis (Ronald) Wilson of Sacramento, CA and a Paternal Aunt Minnie Hamilton of Elgin, IL., along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved Cliff and he will be truly missed.
Preceding Cliff in is home going are his Loving Mother Nellie Delois McCall, his brother Thomas Haywood, his nephew Jeffery Moore, and both sets of Grandparents.
