Obituary of Moniquka Lateas Hale

Moniquka (Rabbit) Lateas Hale of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017. Moniquka was born on May 16, 1974 to Deborah Marie Hale (deceased) and Willie Scott Guy in Battle Creek, Michigan. Moniqka was a loving woman who cared deeply for her family. She was full of life and loved traveling, shopping and providing care for individuals in need. She was a faithful member of New Harvest Christian Center where she served on the hospitality and intercessory prayer teams. After being diagnosed with cancer Moniquka made the decision to turn the situation from a negative into a positive. She joined The 5Cs (Calhoun County Cancer Collation Committee) and started Moniquka’s Hope. Moniquka would make inspirational videos of encouragement and also gave out gifts to others who were battling cancer. She wanted to spread her faith and give hope while bringing a smile to others faces. She leaves to cherish her memory Breanna Danise Worsham (Las Vegas, NV) Bryan J. Cunningham Jr. (Louisville, KY) Isrial Cratege Dean (Battle Creek, MI), siblings Andrew Devon Hale, Nakita Nicole Hale and Josepha Carlos Bell all of Battle Creek.
