Obituary of Diane Marie Galloup

Diane Marie Galloup, age 65 of Portage and formerly of Battle Creek passed on to be with our Lord on Thursday, March 2, 2017. Diane was born on June 26th, 1951 in Battle Creek, Michigan. Diane grew up in Battle Creek. She was a kind, loving person who treated everybody as her family. Her quick wit and snappy sense of humor brought smiles to anyone she met. Diane also had a gift for conversation, and could make anyone feel comfortable. She truly had a natural talent for bringing out the good in people. She loved her family, loved God, and loved to laugh and smile. Diane is survived by her two children Shawn Rainer of Battle Creek, and Christina Abbey of Portage; three grandchildren Jessica, Cody, and Hunter. Also surviving is her sister Kathleen Plaisted of Battle Creek. She is preceded in death by her parents Agnes and Eldred Kenney. Diane graduated from St. Philip High School in 1969. A memorial gathering is being scheduled for later in the year. In celebration of Diane’s life, donations may be made to Wings Of Hope Hospice and Borgess Medical Center.
