Obituary of Climmie Lee Patterson

Climmie Lee (McClinton) Patterson was born May 9, 1926 in Senatobia, Ms. Climmie passed away peacefully on January 23, 2017 at the age of 90 years old. She is preceded in death by her father Simmie McClinton, Sr., and her mother Ella Mae (Cole) McClinton. Climmie was the last of her 8 siblings (2) brothers and (6) sisters, she also preceded in death her husband Willie Patterson, and (1) son Randy Laurence McClinton. Climmie confessed to Christ at an early age and went on and joined New Salem Baptist Church in Senatobia, MS. where she served as an usher until she moved to Kalamazoo, MI in 1977. Climmie Leave to cherish her memories her (6) sons, 5 of Kalamazoo, MI: Allner McClinton, Roger Sherman, James Wilie, Terry Campbell and Alfred McClinton of Senatobia, MS.; (5) daughters, 4 of Kalamazoo, MI.; Willie Mae (JC) Joyce, Mary Patterson, Eddie Mae McClinton, Brenda Campbell, and Rosie Marie (Chester) Johnson of Senatobia, MS.; (44) grandchildren, (68) great grandchildren, (56) great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. “The day which we fear as our last is but the Birthday of eternity”
