Obituary of Gilford Eugene Brown, Jr.

Gilford Eugene Brown Jr. was born on January 1, 1962, at Westover Air Force base in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts by his mother Patricia Arlene Baker, and father Gilford Eugene Brown Sr. He passed away Friday, April 28, 2023, at the age of 61 in the comfort of his home after battling cancer.

He is joined in Death with his father Gilford Eugene Brown Sr. and he leaves his mother, Patricia Arlene Baker (Kalamazoo, Michigan); his sisters, Lavorys Renee Brown (Kalamazoo, Michigan), Adrian Brown, and Anitria Brown (Baltimore,
Maryland); his daughters Nichole Marie Phillips (James Phillips Jr) and Beatrice Michael Brown; several step-sons that he helped raise as his own, John Coombs, Bon Coombs, and Jason Burns; and his 12 grandchildren.

Gil was an extremely hard-working man who spent over 45 years in the construction business with many of these years running his own business, Brown Construction. He enjoyed playing guitar, riding his motorcycles, collecting many vehicles, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy.

Gil was a selfless man who was always offering a helping hand to those in need no matter what it cost. He will be remembered for his kindness, braveness, honesty, reliability, and generosity.
