Obituary of Wilson Rodgers, Jr.

Wilson Rodgers Jr. was born Feb. 2, 1965, in Lepanto Arkansas. To Wilson and Florine Rodgers. The family relocated to Kalamazoo Mi. in 1967. Wilson attended and graduated from Loy Norrix High School in 1983.

Wilson worked several jobs ranging from a convenience store manager to a metal Fabricator ending with Absolute Aire a commercial HVAC Manufacturer as the Final Quality Control inspector where he worked for more than 20 years. Jr was very proud of his position and would tell you about it often. He loved to fish, work on cars, argue with Paula and Anthony, and mostly hanging out with family and friends.

Wilson met his future wife Sophia in 1995 and they were together for 28 years. Wilson and Sophia passed away together On April 12, 2023.

Wilson is the youngest of 4. Wilson had one Son Wilson Ill of Kalamazoo, and 2 stepdaughters Latasha Glover and Sarekeya (Clifton) Logan. Wilson had 4 grandchildren Ke'Marion Jackson, Harmony Janvier, Chastiti Logan, Emonee Logan, and one Godson Tyrone Phillips Jr.

Left to Cherish his Memory are His Parents Wilson Sr. and Florine Rodgers, and sister Paula {Billy) Wright of Osceola Ark. Brother Franklin {Cynthia) Williams of Kalamazoo Mi. 8 Aunts and 2 Uncles. numerous Nephews, Nieces, Chosen family, and Friends.

Wilson was preceded in death by His Brother Anthony Rodgers.  Both are loved and will be truly missed.
