Obituary of Annie Ruth Wade

Ann Ruth Wade 65 of Battle Creek, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on March 30^th, 2023. Annie was born October 8^th, 1957, to the late Albert and Dora Boyd in Clarksdale, Mississippi. Anne was baptized and accepted Christ at an early age.

Annie was joined in holy matrimony to Johnny Wade in 1972, through their union they had four children. Annie worked as a Health Care Aide early in life, she also enjoyed the game solitaire, playing cards, cooking, reading, and socializing with the community. Annie was the life and laughter of the family gatherings. Annie also enjoyed spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.  Annie was loved by many people throughout her life.  Annie lived her life to the fullest.  If she fussed you out, that was her way of showing love. Annie will truly be missed.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Dora Boyd, brothers Walter Lee Boyd, Albert Boyd Jr., Anthony T. Boyd, Isaiah Boyd, and sister-in-law Pecola Hampton.

Annie leaves to cherish her memory her brother Fred Hampton; sisters: Ella Lewis, Dora Sanders, Rosemary Marks, Lisa Boyd, Rosa (Tracy) Lafayette, and Patricia Boyd; all of Battle Creek MI. Minnie Wyrick of Toccoa Ga. Leatha Graham, Janet (Berry) Fry of Kalamazoo, Mi. Nisa Henderson of Livingston Tx; and a special sister-in-law Dewanda Baker of Battle Creek MI. daughters Carolyn Wade, Patricia Wade, and Emtesha Wade all of Battle Creek MI; son Johnny Wade of Detroit MI. Grandchildren Khalil Laurencin, Jahia Wade, KahMar Morris all of Battle Creek, MI. A host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
