Mr. Gilbert Arnold Bell passed away due to cancer on Tuesday, March 14th, 2023. He was born on June 7th, 1948, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Dorothy and Harold Bell. He attended Kalamazoo Central High School and was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Harold Bell, six brothers: Harold Jr., Leroy, Edward, Leon, David, and Norman; four sisters: Barbara Bell, Leota Wyatts, Shirley Moore, and Sharon Bell.

Gilbert leaves to cherish his memory one daughter Shana Bell; three grandchildren: Jamere Bell, Madisyn Martin, and Ashanti Warren; three sisters: Reva Woodard and Florence Ayers of Kalamazoo, MI., and Charlene Abercrombie of Detroit, Michigan; one brother Donald Bell of Kalamazoo, Michigan; two special nieces Cerese “Ressie” Bell, Cassandra (San) Lewis and one favorite great nephew Collin “CJ” Hegwood and host of friends and family.
