Obituary of Raymond Authur Russon

Raymond Arthur Russon, 80, passed away on March 11, 2023.  He was born July 19, 1942 in Kendallville, Indiana, the son of Arthur Russon and Betty Stratton-Russon.  A graduate of Comstock High School in 1960, Raymond was well known in the Comstock community.  Throughout his life he ran many businesses: Russon’s Bait Shop, waste management, Russon’s furniture store, and various paper routes in addition to his volunteer work as the President of Jaycees, Comstock Do-Gooders and more.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and mushroom hunting.  Raymond is preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Russon, son Donald Russon, sister Becky Priest (James), brother Donald Russon (Diane).  Surviving are daughters Marla Schwartz (Mike), Darla Russon; grandson Michael Schwartz II (Bailey), great-grandson Michael Schwartz III, expected great-grandson Brent Schwartz; sister Jenny Stuut (Mike), and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
