Obituary of Demetrius Lee Custcard

Demetrius Lee Custcard, age 27, tragically passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2023, in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

On January 16, 1996, Demetrius was born to his loving parents, Helen Williams and Gregory Custcard, Sr. in Kalamazoo. He was the youngest of four siblings, Phyllis, Keyara, and Gregory II.

Demetrius, affectionately known as ‘Meme’ to his family and friends, loved to listen to music and help others. He loved to spend time with his daughter D’eavayah Custcard and looked forward to the birth of his son, Demetrius Jr., and continuing his spiritual growth at Mt. Zion. Meme loved to motivate others and try to help people reach their goals and be the best they can be. He was an entrepreneur who loved to create t-shirts through his LLC, No Life Limits, as well as detail cars, and various other endeavors. 

Meme will be remembered for his laughs, jokes, kind spirit, and the joy he brought to others.

Meme was a beloved father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to all and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his parents Helen Williams and Gregory Custcard Sr., both of Kalamazoo; siblings, Phyllis Lee, Keyara Harley, and Gregory Custcard II; girlfriend Timmecia Phillips, daughter D’eavayah and unborn son Demetrius Custcard Jr.; Grandmother Kathy Harley; aunts and uncles, Roger, Kenyetta, Selenthia, LaSandra, Donnie, and Bridgett Williams, Edwin and Demetrius Custcard, and Calvin Harley; nieces and nephews, Josiah, Jordis, and Sa’Miyah Lee, Serenity and James Williams, Serainah and Gregory Custcard III; cousins Troy, Odyessey, Roger Jr., Donasia and Dontavion Williams, DeWayne Davis-Williams, Labria Clopton, SynQuissa Morris, Devin Curiel, a long list of other cousins, and special friends, Dommo and Lil Roe.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother Celia Williams, and cousins Aviaya and Davon Williams.
