Obituary of James Douglas White, Jr.

James Douglas White Jr., 29, of Kalamazoo Michigan, tragically passed away on December 30th, 2022.

James was predeceased by his parents James Douglas White Sr. (father), Ethel Mae White (mother), and Armour Ousley Jr. (father(grandfather)). He is survived by his parent Tammy White, eight children (Ja’Laeyah, James, Jamion, Jakayla, Jameer, Jade, Londynn, and Jayon), six siblings (Jamar, Tiesha, AJ, Kenneth, Soliada, and Nikky) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Our son James Douglas White Jr.’s short life ended tragically in Kalamazoo, Mi. James came to live with his grandparents when he was only four months old. He was a joyful baby that enjoyed playing with his cousins. As a child, he enjoyed spending time with his grandfather, who he called “Dad” and the two loved fishing trips together. He attended Kalamazoo Central High school and worked in the manufacturing field, as an adult. James was a devoted father and truly lived life to the fullest.

He believed in God and loved taking his children to church. He enjoyed eating, dancing, listening to music, and hanging out with family. His smile lit up every room and we will miss seeing him play with his children, nieces, and nephews. James will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
