William Brownlee was born to his mother Mattie Mae Anderson (Echols), and Father Zeddie Brownlee in the city of Hohenlinden, Mississippi. Born on September 20, 1946, he was only a baby when he moved to Kalamazoo, Michigan with his mom and grandmother Zorena Echols.

William graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School where he was running track. He held many jobs in his life: Kalamazoo Box Container, Borgess Hospital, and Bronson Hospital, ending it at TNT Janitorial until his transition.

Giving you the shirt off of his back. He loved to see his little cousins doing well in school and would always tell them so. He loved his dogs, especially Angel.

William is greatly going to be missed. He touched a lot of people’s lives.

He was preceded in death by his mom, grandmother, dad, aunts & uncles, and many other relatives.

He leaves behind many cousins and relatives that he cherished dearly. His best friends, Tim, Walter, Arron
