Obituary of Vera Ruby Boards

Ms Vera Ruby Boards went home to be with the lord Dec 24 2022 with her family and friends by her side.

She was born Jan 8 1925 in Penson TN the daughter of John and Grace Ozier, who both preceded her in death. She was a member of Secound Baptist Church for 54 years.

She was a resident of Battle Creek Mi before moving to Kalamazoo Mi in 1973. She was employed at Matheson Nursing Home, Eaton Mfg and K College. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and telling people what was on her mind.

She was preceded in death by 4 sisters and 3 brothers Willie Lee, JB and Roy L Ozier. Kathleen Lancaster, Bertha Carpenter, Gerldine Dixon and Hazel Ozier.

Surviving are her son Dallas Boards and his siblings Steve, David, Buddy(Cynthia) Boards and Charnis(Alonzo)Bailey. Two grandchildren Ericka Brant, Jarard Hill and his sibling Jewrel Hill. Two great grand kids Jzah"mir and Jze"kario and a host of Family and Friends .

A celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
