Blanche May Harrell was born on Wednesday, September 30, 1953, to Bessie Mae (Young) Mitchell and James H Mitchell in Gary, Indiana. She departed this life on Tuesday, December 20, 2022..
Blanche received her high school diploma at Covert High school on June 9th, 1971, in Covert, Mi. Blanche attended KVCC in Kalamazoo, Mi to become a nurse. She had several jobs throughout her lifetime. Eventually, Blanche became a CNA and started working at Tender Care in Kalamazoo, Mi where eventually was a permanent stay for her and her family.
Blanche became a member of United First Baptist in Kalamazoo, Mi. She was a faithful member of the church and even had her family attend on Sundays. Blanche was an active mother and grandmother and an even better great Grandmother. As she used to come up with nicknames and make up songs for them.
Blanche always had an influential impact on anyone she came across or had a conversation with and man, could she talk.
All though Blanche suffered many health issues, this by no means deferred her from being the most loving, caring, and the toughest person known. But cried as soon as an emotional clip come on in a movie.
She was a fearless woman and a strong believer in God. Blanche loved all her babies and would just call, just to hear our voices.
Blanche leaves to cherish her memory of two Children: Reesheda Mitchell of Kalamazoo, Mi who she’s lived with, and Mansour Harrell of Grand Rapids. Her Granddaughters; Tashia Doubley of Kalamazoo, Mi & Ti-Zhane Mitchell of Kalamazoo, Mi; Her Great Granddaughters Samelah & Shiegh Doubley: Brother; Ivory James Miller of Kalamazoo, Mi: Sister; Phyllis Burton of Covert, Mi. Along with a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless friends who she loved dearly.
Blanche would be joined by her late daughter and son; Iesha Latrice Mitchell and Tarren Lavelle Mitchell.
