Obituary of Willie Lee Hoskin

Willie Lee Hoskin departed this life peacefully on December 13, 2022.

Willie Lee Hoskin was born June 28, 1945, in Inverness, MS to Major Hoskin and Dora Leana Hoskin.

Willie along with their family moved to Kalamazoo, MI in 1954.

Willie was baptized at Galilee Baptist Church in Kalamazoo, MI.

Willie was employed at General Motors and later pursued a job at Turner & Summers Body Shop until his retirement.

Willie was also a member of the Masonic Lodge #10 in Kalamazoo, MI.

He loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends, especially his C.B. radio friends.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Major and Dora Hoskin, his sister Mary L. Phillips, and his brother Robert Hoskin.

He leaves to cherish his memories of 4 sons, Terrance (Dedrinna) Hoskin, Michael Simmons, Renell (Tiera) Watson of Atlanta, GA., and Kenneth (Tonya) Woodard.

He also leaves to cherish his memories of 5 sisters and 1 brother; sisters Jean Helen Hoskin of Kalamazoo, MI., Rose, Laura, Dorothy, and Valerie Hoskin all in Florida, and one brother Major Watts Hoskin, Jr. in Florida.

Willie also leaves to cherish his memories, 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
