Obituary of Jimmie Rodgers Roberts

Jimmie Rodgers Robert, born June 1, 1951, left us on November 10, 2022 at his home on 813 Staples in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  He dies of natural causes.

 Jimmy Roberts was born to Dorothy Walls in Senatobia, Mississippi.  He was the first son of a loving family.  Jimmie finished school and married early which led him to result to better opportunities in Kalamazoo, Michigan where he resided until his death.  Jimmie worked at Upjohn for over 20 years and his last 10 years with Borgess Hospital where he was truly loved.  Jimmie will be remember by his pleasing and humble personality and the love he displayed to everyone.

Jimmie Roberts leaves behind his daughters Alesia Roberts (Joe Teage), Yulanda Farmer (Walter Farmer, Memphis Tenn.), son Jimil Bowden, Stepchildren Sue Murray and Dawanda Gray, Susie, Carl & Tony. Grandchildren Brittany Thomas, Dariean Roberts, Dayon Roberts, Jamila Roberts, and Whittney Roberts and a host of great grandchildren, nieces & nephews.  He also leaves siblings Willie, Modean and Helen (Kalamazoo Michigan), Elizebeth, Cynthia, Cathy & Peggy (Chicago, Illinois), Mary Francis & Joe Ann; four grandchildren Herbert, Duan Gray, Kymi Toliver, Micheal Lasenby, Jr.; Step-grandkids Rasheda Davis, Jamaal Davis, Ed Donaldson, Jr.
