Obituary of Andre Allen Green, Sr.

Andre (Dre) Allen Green, was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on February 27th, 1983 to Martha
Davis and James Green. The Lord called him home on October 25, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Minnie Moton, John Green, Sue Green and Ralph
Johnson.

He leaves behind his parents Martha Davis and James (Joan) Green, grandmother Margaret
Green, his fiance Marta Huerta, children Dreonna, Andre Allen Jr., and Ladrea Green, siblings
Aimee Green(Joe) Stacy, John (Christina) Green, and step-brother Matt Penley. He was also
survived by his aunts Bonnie, Katy, and Denise, uncles Tyrone, and Carlos, great aunts Essie,
Doretha, Joyce, Wanda, Ruthie, Vanessa and Brenda, his great uncles Jack, Marvin, Dave Jr,
Darryl, Jesse, and Rudy. He also left behind to grieve him, his nieces Kaila and Chloe, and
nephews Braden and Jordan,, three loyal best friends LeAndre Braxton, Phillipe Campbell, and
Anthony Gray plus a host of cousins, relatives, and close friends.

Dre was a resident of Kalamazoo, Michigan for his entire life. He was the kind of person that
everyone loved. He made friends everywhere he went. He was a passionate, loyal guy with a big,
giving, heart. He also had an amazing sense of humor and absolutely loved to make everyone
around him laugh. He was an amazing father figure to not his own children, but many others as
well. He loved his family and friends fiercely and was a protector of anyone he cared about. He
had a passion for grilling and had his own BBQ business and was known as the The BBQ King
and The Roast King because he was always roasting somebody. He had a dream of opening his
own restaurant. He eventually wanted to be able to start his own charity and feed the homeless.
He never left a conversation without saying a big “I LOVE YOUUU”! Dre will be tremendously
missed by everyone that knew him.
