DK and I worked at Hungry Howies together. I still remember the day he walked in asking for an application. He was dressed nicely, spoke softly, and was very respectful. Of course we had to bring him onto the crew.
He was one of the hardest and best workers. As a manager, I loved working with him because I knew he’d take his job seriously. But as a friend, I tried to schedule working with him often because he ALWAYS made everybody laugh and smile. I remember when we had a going away party when I left the store, he came to the party and it really meant a lot to me.
I’d like to send my condolences to the friends and family. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. I hope everyone remembers him the same way I do: happy, carefree, selfless, and loving.
