Obituary of Jimmie Kye

Jimmie Earl Kye was called home to his heavenly father on September 8 th
2022. Jimmie was born October 10 th 1947 to the late Louis and Annie Bell Kyles in
Macon, MS. Jimmie was the youngest of the six sons and enjoyed fishing and
playing his guitar with his older brothers. Jimmie met his wife Lois in Macon, MS
and they married in 1966 they then followed other siblings and moved to
Kalamazoo, MI in 1969 for a better life where they continued to expand their
family and Jimmie decided to give his life over to God and was baptized at
Friendship Baptist Church by the late Rev. P.T. Tinsley. Jimmie retired from
Crown Vantage after 31 years but decided to continue work at Bronson Methodist
hospital before retiring indefinitely.

Jimmie is proceeded in passing by his son Jimmy James Earl, his
parents Louis and Annie Bell Kyles; sisters: Queen Esther (David Skinner), Annie
Laura (Tate Robinson), Mary (Otha Brewer); brothers: Willie James, David, Louis,
Otis and Charles.

Jimmie leaves to mourn and cherish his memories: his wife of 56 years Lois
Kye; daughters: Evelyn (Timeeko Churchwell), Patricia; sons: Michael (Kimberly)
Kye, Terrell Reed Kenneth and Thomas. Jimmie also leaves behind 14
grandchildren for which he exemplified the true definition of being a grandfather

and 18 great-grandchildren. Jimmie also leaves behind his sole surviving sibling;
Pauline (James) Pippen as well as a` host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends.
