Obituary of Kevin Paul Lamaster

Kevin Paul Lamaster 32 passed away unexpectedly Sunday September 4, 2022. 

Kevin was born too John Lamaster and Tammy Rupe on April 2,1990.  

In addition to his parents, Kevin is survived by his sisters, Ashley Lamaster; Brandi (Ian) Vandyke; Holly (Wes) Porter; Marchelle Lamaster; Jessica (William) Murphy; Tiffany Lamaster; Brothers, Derick Lamaster; John Lamaster Jr; Grandmother, Dorothy Floyd and many nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. 

Kevin was preceded in death by his dad John Lamaster Sr, Grandparents; Lloyd and Lavon Lamaster; Uncles Ralph Rupe, Tommy Lamaster and Jim Murphy; Aunt Doris Floyd.

Kevin grew up in the Kalamazoo area. As a child, he was adventurous and full of life. he loved to spend time with his dad riding in the big rig across the country. His lifelong dream was to drive truck just like his dad. He truly loved traveling with his dad and his love for his dad was immense. When he was not on the road with his dad, he would spend time with his loving mom, sisters, friends, and other family members. Even through life’s challenges, he led a full life. He spent time exploring nature and doing whatever he wanted. He was always working on trying to build something with wood or fixing something mechanical. He truly like to work and create things with his hands and challenge himself to the fullest. He enjoyed fishing and camping as well. He had determination in whatever he did, even if it did not come easy or turn out the way he wanted. He was full of life and had a huge heart for everyone. He made sure there were never any dull moments to be had. Kevin will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him and may he rest in peace. 

A celebration of life luncheon for immediate family members only. Will be held on October 15,2022 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm a Kalamazoo Missionary Church, 5045 East Michigan Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49048.
