LaDayshia Brown

Obituary of LaDayshia Tiarria Brown

LaDayshia Tiarria Brown departed this earthly life into her eternal home on August 25, 2022, at the age of 25 in Kalamazoo, MI. She was born on December 29, 1996, to Calvin “Dion” Smith and Nicole Loret Brown in Kalamazoo, MI. LaDayshia “Dayshia'' attended Arcadia Elementary, Linden Grove Middle School, graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School in 2015, Central Michigan University, and was a current student at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. LaDayshia loved the game of basketball and played it throughout her life, for school teams, and for fun. Although she didn’t pursue basketball in college, she soon found another passion: joining the Air National Guard and becoming Airmen LaDayshia T. Brown. A pandemic didn’t stop her endeavors to achieve this dream. LaDayshia worked at Stryker Medical in Kalamazoo, MI, and the family business Rocketship Cleaning Service.

LaDayshia attended Galilee Baptist Church, she loved God and made sure she gave him credit when she accomplished her achievements. She was full of joy and could lighten up any room with her infectious smile and funny high-pitched voice. LaDayshia loved amusement parks, traveling, dancing, and scary movies in her spare time. LaDayshia was the firstborn, the first granddaughter, first of many and she definitely reaped the rewards of being first.

Her joy touched every person who knew and loved her. Even though we want her here on Earth with us, God loved her more and needed the pleasure only she could bring in heaven.
