Obituary of William Howard Nichols, Jr.

Mr. William Howard Nichols Jr, 75, of Kalamazoo, MI, peacefully departed this life at his home on Monday, May 9, 2022. William was born on November 27, 1946, in Kalamazoo, MI, to the late William Howard Nichols Sr. and Theola May Nichols. William attended school in Kalamazoo until he respectfully Graduated High school. At the age of 17, William enlisted in The United States Army in 1964. He respectfully served as A PV2 until 1967, when he was honorably discharged. William later got married to Janette Nichols and worked as a welder for a good duration of his life. In his free time, he would ride his motorcycle, work on his cars and trucks, go fishing, play cards, listen to music, and spend time with his family. William Leaves his greatest memories with his two children: Timothy Nichols (43) of Kalamazoo, MI., and Hannah Nichols (45) of Columbus, Ohio; three stepchildren: Jonathan Price of Kalamazoo, MI., Terri Price of Virginia, Elizabeth Jo Price of Columbus, OH., as well as a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Four brothers: Michael (Sue) Nichols, Robert Nichols, Daniel (Katie) Harley, and Fred Marshall, all of Kalamazoo, MI. Three sisters: Sharon Nichols and Hanna Nichols, both of Kalamazoo, MI., and Yolanda James of Lima, Ohio. William Nichols, Jr., was preceded into eternal rest by his grandfather Joseph Stevenson, grandmother Hannah Stevenson, grandfather Ed Nichols, grandmother Lenora Nichols, mother Theola M. Nichols, father William Nichols Sr.; two Brothers: Joseph Nichols and Rodney Harley, one sister Rose M. Nichols; three uncles: Jesse and Floyd Stevenson, and Cecil Moore; one aunt Mattie B. Stevenson, and a host of nieces and nephews.
