Obituary of Elizabeth Harriett Price

Elizabeth H (Betty) Price Passed away peacefully April 5, 2022. Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on May 18, 1931, the daughter of Geraldine Welker of Clearfield, PA, and adopted soon after by John & Alice DeKoekkoek of Kalamazoo, Michigan. They are all deceased. Betty enjoyed doing volunteer work and worked for her special friends Chandler, Gail, and Stephen Gibson for 24 years. She enjoyed playing golf for many years with her loving husband, children, grandchildren, and many friends. She and her husband enjoyed dune bugging, snowmobiling, motor homing, and a winter home in Winter Haven, Florida. Husband, Henry S. Price, passed away, on June 23, 2014. Children Mary Giddings (Fred), Kathy A. Pool, David Pool (Ruth deceased), Denise Kievit (Stephen), & Ronald Pool (Lori). Stepchildren Bob Price (Shirley) Timothy (Maureen), Tom Price deceased (Marie), Judy Zoss (Neel), Sisters Wiladean Boyer (deceased), Audrey Black (Howard), and brother Charles DeKoekkoek. Sisters-in-law Marilyn Smith and Madilyn Yale. She leaves many loveable grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren to cherish her memory. She was proceeded in death by a very special grandson, Jason S. Bradshaw. According to her wishes, she will be cremated. There will be no visitation and burial services will be at Ft Custer Cemetery at noon, May 19, 2022. Memorial contributions may be made to The Fraternal Order of Eagles Scholarship fund or a memorial fund of your choice. Following burial services, there will be a luncheon at the Eagles in Schoolcraft.
