Obituary of Keith Lamarr Coleman

Keith Lamarr Coleman was born on April 21, 1958 in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Johnnie B. and Annie Lou (Eddins) Coleman, both of whom preceded him in death. He died unexpectedly on January 24, 2022, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In 1968, the family relocated to Michigan. Keith attended Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo and enjoyed playing basketball, and occasionally playing the guitar; he also liked to play chess. During his life, he worked in the electrical industry with Moore Electric and All Phase Electric. He was later able obtain his certification as an electrician. Keith is preceded in death by his brothers Leonard and Donald Coleman; his nephew, DeVanté Coleman; and his sister-in-law, Thelma Coleman. He is survived by his children, William, Tabatha, Raymond, and Michael Coleman; his grandchildren, Corey, Jackson, Clarissa, and Milana Coleman; his siblings, Melody Coleman, Patricia Coleman, Linda Coleman, Johnny “Jay” Coleman, of Pontiac, Michigan, Monique (Jay) Coleman-Riddle, Keyla (Daniel) Blackston, of McDonough, GA, and Kizzy Bradford; nieces Michele Coleman, Laquana Coleman, and Jaylah Blackston; nephews, Shawntego McCreary, Christian (Titiana) Coleman, and Scotty Shey; his special great-niece Ciara Coleman; a “favorite cousin” Kerry Hill; and many other loving cousins, great-nieces and nephews, and friends.
