The Scroll of Life Derrick Lamont Williams was born on November 9, 1973, to his parents Derrick Bostic and S.L. Williams in the city of Kalamazoo, Michigan where he was raised and resided. Derrick went home to be with his Lord and Savior Christ on January 8, 2021. He attended Kalamazoo Central High School. Derrick had a generous and giving heart. He was 'always going somewhere". He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Derrick also had a great passion for making music. He was always smiling with a great sense of humor. Derrick's last year was spent with girlfriend of 5yrs Sherry Richmond. Derrick is preceded in death by his mother Derrick Bostic, his brother Sam Smith, maternal and paternal Grandparents Omaria and Charles Bostic, Mattie Hardy (Brooks) and Willie Williams.
