thank you dad for teaching me how to drive those country roads, mom and i used to love it on the weekends., and thank you for loving me in spite of myself. I know we had our differences, but i love you and miss you. I remember talking to you on the C,B. in the van and my handle was patti pooh. I remember the christmas's, and how mom loved you soo much. i am sitting here thinking about when you took me to the rabbit farm, my first taste fried rabbit. i recall the long nights of you and mom having friends over and playing spades. dont worry I am looking after Rusty like i always did when she was small. I miss your guidance and spirit.. You are at peace with mom now. I want you know that i am proud of your accomplishments, I used to go to all the places that you worked on as a painter, The Balloon store in the Old Kalamazoo Inn, mom and I brought you Lunch, The Rose Market. what a wonderful job you would do fixing up our home , You went on to become a hard worker for your best friend Denny at Dennys saw crib.. You proved to me that you never give up. I watched you and mom both grow up and become responsible. Your grandkids loved you so much and so did your great grandkids, i realize that your not my biological father, i remember when i got my drum set , i was 4 and asked you if i could call you dad,, you told me to ask mom first, and from that point on you were my only dad, thank you for loving me and taking me under your wing. dont worry, i am watching over rusty and the kids still, i hope you are at peace in moms arms.
