Obituary of Alvin Tyrone Randle
On January 6, 2022, Alvin Tyrone Randle (Durt/Tadpole) passed away peacefully. Alvin was born on January 25, 1968, to Doris Lawson and Alvin Hollins in Bastrop Louisiana. Alvin accepted Christ in his life at an early age. Alvin was a man of many talents. Always finding humor in everything. He missed his calling of being a comedian. He was a music lover. Fishing was his favorite hobby. He could sit at the dock of the bay all day.
He spent every day thinking of a way to make money. He loved to scrap, build things, and barbecue. Perfect with his hands and making his many visions come to life. He started with building grills from scratch. He had contracts and jobs all over the state of Michigan to do house repairs. Being self-taught he could almost build a house from the ground up. He had built many decks in the city before leaving this life. When he wasn’t working he loved playing the lottery, going to the casino, and playing tunk for shots.
Durt (Alvin) leaves to carry on his legacy his children Makella Potts, Tynesha Randle (Terrence) Hendrix, Doris Perry, Tyrone Potts (Rebecca), Daneisha McPherson and Chabrea Moore all of Kalamazoo. His brothers Joshua (Wayne) Lawson of Troy Michigan, Frank Martin, and Theodore Unk Miller of Kalamazoo. His backbone Charise McPherson. 15 grandchildren, 1 great-grandbaby Hazel Potts. Special cousins Alonzo Wilson, Daniel and Debbie Randall of Kalamazoo. Special friends LC Hoggan, Kenny Woodard, Malcolm Williams, Eddie B. Stokes, and Betty Beard of Kalamazoo Michigan and a host of cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Doris Lawson, Father Alvin Hollins, Son Marcel Joshua Randle, granddaughter Rozyier Perry-O’day and best friend Tyrone Sheppard.
Durt (Alvin)’s good heart and loving personality will be truly missed. His spirit will forever be remembered. He left an impact on each person that he encountered in his own way.
His willingness to offer services whenever they were needed will be greatly missed. If you ever need to feel close to him just go sit at the fishing dock. He will forever live on in our hearts and in our spirits.
