Betty Ann Best, age 86 formerly of Petersburgh Ohio was called home to our Lord on December 28, 2021. Betty was a unique and caring person who touched the lives of all that knew her. She married Richard Best in 1955 and raised 4 children that she devoted her love and life to. She was an active member of the Evangel Baptist Church in Youngtown, OH., where she spent every Sunday worshiping and praying with her extended family. In her free time, she loved plants and gardening. Anyone that knew her said she had a “green thumb” and always grew the most beautiful plants. She was very passionate when it came to decorating her home. One of her greatest joys was decorating and preparing for the different holiday seasons. Betty was preceded in death by her Father Lewis Welton, Mother Rosetta Welton, Brother Jack Welton and loving husband of 59 years Richard Best. She spent the last 5 years with her son Lenny and daughter in law Maureen who loved, cared for and devoted their lives to her. She passed peacefully in their home. She is survived by her sons Terry, Lenny (Maureen) Tim (Wanda) and daughter Janeece (Diana) Grandchildren: Heather Best, Amanda Balboa (Poncho), Johnathon Best (Heidi), Ashley Martell, Tim Best (Monica), Jennifer Myers (Derick), Brandon Best, Mellissa Best, Lori Best (Cindy), Sierra Best and Oscha Best; 17 Great grandchildren that she deeply loved and enjoyed spending time with.
