His name was NOT Richard William Laube Jr. His father, my grandfather, was named William Jacob Laube His mother was Clarice Gertrude Laube. Both of Dorr,Michigan. He did NOT die with his family at his side. None of his 4 children, from a previous marriage were even notified of his death. His wife at the time of his death had him hidden away so that his true family was unable to see him. He left behind 3 sons, Richard Jay Laube of Brownwood, TX. Christopher Adam Laube of Carencro,LA. And Brian Jacob Laube of Brownwood, TX. And a daughter Clarissa Ann Laube of Dyersburg, TN. He was followed in death by his first wife,Sarah Mae McCant.
He had a sister, Barbara Laube that preceeded him in death and a brother, Bruce Laube and a sister, Diane Laube that survive him. As well as many nephews and nieces. And lots grandchildren and even a few great-grandchildren.
