Obituary of Lori Ann Golden

Lori Ann Golden 6/22/1962 – 12/09/2021 Lori passed away suddenly on December 9th, 2021, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Alice Golden and the late James Borton. She leaves behind her best friend and companion of 23 years Kenneth Vanatta, children Jason and Brandy Blanchard, grandson who she adored Cody Blanchard. Siblings Paul Golden, Penny Golden, Andrew and (Kristen) Golden, Sherry and (Bryan) Allers. She also leaves behind her extended family Gracie, Doug, Chauntelle, Sharon, Misty, Janet, Donna, many nieces, nephew, cousins and several friends. Lori Graduated from Kalamazoo Central high school in 1980 not long after that she started a family and just enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother raising her kids, she was always watching her nieces and nephews as well. They all have fond memories of their aunt Lori watching them. She was always creating and crafting something whether it was making cakes, crafting purses, making Christmas trees out of hangers or crocheting dolls and blankets she was always making something for someone and that is where she got her joy. Lori was loved by so many because she showed everyone love, compassion, kindness and empathy. She was generous and selfless, and she always put others before herself. Her spirit will remain in all our hearts and all our memories. We will miss your laughter, your humor, and your great big heart. “Love you to the moon and back”!
